(CNN) — Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, who was due in justice Thursday for his trial, has been hospitalized after descending ill, his counsel told CNN.

He was taken to a sanatorium on his doctor’s orders, counsel Ahmad Raza Kasuri said. His hearing was subsequently deferred until Monday.

Asiya Ishaq, a believer and personality of a All Pakistan Muslim League, pronounced a former President had been feeling vigour on his chest given Wednesday dusk and was not well.

When asked if he will go to Dubai for treatment, she pronounced that “Musharraf will not leave Pakistan.” Ishaq also pronounced that as distant as she knows, “Musharraf has got 3 arteries blocked and is now undergoing angiography,” an artery-scanning procedure.
