LUPITA!! She gives me life. Lupita Nyong’o won a Best Supporting Actress SAG Award final night for her work in 12 Years a Slave. I’m kind of meditative that Lupita’s on a upswing now, and that there’s a good possibility she’ll float to feat during a Oscars in March. Here’s hoping. Truly. we would adore to see her win an Oscar. we also desired that she name-checked Yale Drama in her debate – it felt like, “Oh, by a way, this isn’t a fluke, I’m a magnificently lerned actress.”
As for her fashion… don’t kill me, though of all of a red runner looks we’ve seen from Lupita in a past week (the red Ralph Lauren, a white Calvin Klein), this Gucci was maybe my slightest favorite. Of course, it’s still rather fanciful and Lupita creates it work unequivocally well, I’m only observant that we wasn’t balls-out in adore with it. It arrange of reminds me of Reese Witherspoon’s Calvin Klein from a Globes – is it a same shade of teal/turquoise? But here’s my favorite part: Lupita matched her eyeshadow to her dress and THAT is what unequivocally done a garb work. What could have been an ‘80s disaster became fashion-forward and fabulous. PS: Ew, we only beheld her relating shoes. BAD!
Other winners – Helen Mirren won for her purpose in that Phil Spector HBO movie. Helen wore this illusory Escada… this is what Meryl should have worn. It’s regal, regressive and still engaging and beautiful. It’s a Fashion Master Class.
And Rita Moreno won a Lifetime Achievement Award – CB says Rita has unequivocally had some face work though a work is really, unequivocally good. Personally, we only adore that Rita wore LEATHER. She’s adorable. And we desired that she was dumb and she sang, and afterwards Bryan Cranston jokingly “sang” after he won too.
Photos pleasantness of WENN.
