Sampat Pal, a personality of a genuine life Gulaabi Gang (on that Madhuri Dixit’s arriving film Gulaab Gang is formed on) is pissed off with a film. She asserts that a film-makers should have taken accede from her; as she claims a film is formed on her life and her group.
“Madhuri ko accede zaroor leni chahiye thi,” she says, “Kisi ki kahani chura lena, yeh naari sashaktikaran ke liye koi achhi baat hai?”
She also combined that she has a problem with a protagonist’s name in a film. She says Madhuri’s impression should not have been called Rajjo and should have been named Sampat instead. “Bahut achchi kahani banti tab,” she says, emphasizing that a fictitious story formed on their organisation will mistreat a group’s image.
She combined that a documentary formed on their group, patrician Gulaabi Gang that releases this week in India after being screened during several general film festivals, will emanate recognition about a gender issues that she fights against.
“Kya open parivartan chahti hai? Yahan pe sabko tamasha sa dekhna achcha lagta hai. Nirbhaya box ke baad Dilli mein uska itna mudda banaya gaya. Election aa rahey thay, isliye. Election ke baad kuch badla kya? Aisi ghatnaye hona rope ho gayi kya?” she asks.”Hamare desh mein jo crime hai woh ashleel filmon aur gaano ki wajah se hi hai,” she says but elaborating any serve on that claim.
She also combined that people in the nation don’t worry most about documentaries; no matter how good they are. “Log documentary ko significance nahi de rahey hain,” she says, “Yahan documentary ko koi tawajjo nahi dete hain. Jo sachchi kahaani hai usko supports bhi nahi milte! Norway mein logon ne usko khoob pasand kiya.”
